These potato balls are a Puerto Rican classic! They are made with a delicious potato blend, filled with recáo infused ground “meat”, and layered with the perfect plant based coating for cooking. They are perfect side items or center piece for your dishes.
You can bake these beauties by preheating your oven to 400 degrees (F) and allowing them to defrost for 15-30 minutes. First, spray the potato balls with oil spray and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Next, bake for about 45-60 minutes, rolling the balls every 10 minutes until golden brown. For frying, fry them in 350 degrees (F) (medium heat) for 7-9 minutes , turning frequently. Remove once golden brown all over because your are heating the filling and just cooking the exterior layer.
